Liam K. Scott writes psychological fiction that explores power, morality, and the fascinating ways people justify their worst decisions. A voracious reader his whole life, he found himself drawn to those rare authors who explored the gaps in sacred stories—the years the scriptures skip, the doubts no one recorded, the humanity behind the mythology. He sought books that asked inconvenient questions about faith, leadership, and whether it’s possible to be a decent person in indecent systems. Not able to find enough of these books, he decided to write one. When he’s not writing, he’s reading philosophy he only half understands, consuming leadership theories with curiosity, communing with nature on a hike or on the links, constantly discerning the purpose in the universe, and enjoying thoughtful, witty art. Liam K. Scott is a pen name for a doctor who lives with his wife and two dogs with two adult children who live too far from home. This is his first novel.
