Lauren Brynjelson
Lauren Brynjelsen is the founder and owner of One Life Kitchen in Barrington, Illinois, a haven where culinary art meets wellness, hospitality, and community. A longtime resident of Barrington who splits her time between there and Sarasota, Florida, Lauren has always believed that life’s best moments happen around a table.
Though she is largely self-taught in the kitchen, she has refined her approach through private and group culinary classes and dinners, wine-tasting, and celebrity-chef workshops—always emphasizing simplicity, good taste, and nourishing both body and soul.
Her background blends interests in cooking, nutrition, fitness and entertaining. While earning her credentials in nutrition and health coaching, she envisioned a space that goes beyond cooking: a sanctuary to gather, learn, nourish and grow. One Life Kitchen embodies this by offering cooking classes, themed dinners, interactive seminars, and events that nourish the body, mind, and spirit.
Lauren is also an advocate for community, using her platform to inspire connection, encourage authenticity, and support others—especially women—in embracing their gifts with kindness, integrity, and generosity.
