In 1974, Jimmy was the majority owner of the Phoenix Racquets in World Team Tennis. He made headlines by signing Chris Evert, the #1 tennis player in the world. In 1986, Jimmy became a limited partner in the Phoenix Suns basketball team and later was instrumental in selecting key investors for the Major League Baseball expansion team, the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Jimmy collaborated with Muhammad Ali and Andrea Bocelli to create one of America’s and Europe’s biggest annual events while giving away $90 million to charity.
