George S. Everly. Jr., PhD, ABPP, FAPA is a clinical psychologist and public health scholar. He has held faculty positions at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Everly is the author of more than 10 books includingThe Johns Hopkins Guide to Psychological First Aid, and A Clinical Guide to the Treatment of the Human Stress Response. He specializes in the study of stress, human resilience, and personal growth in the wake of adversity. He has given invited addresses in over 25 countries on six continents.
